How Google Chrome Extensions Have Helped Me

As an entrepreneur, when there’s a helpful tool to make life simpler and get things done faster, I jump all over it. Fortunately, there are many tools to help online businesses get the job done more efficiently.

And Google Chrome Extensions are some of those tools. They simplify life.

When you have your own business, you have limited time. I know that’s the case for me. It seems as though there just isn’t enough time in each day to get everything done I’d like.

So when I learned about Google Chrome Extensions, my business life got so much simpler.

Let me explain…

Instead of manually copying and pasting emails I collect from certain offers into an Excel Sheet and then importing them into my email autoresponder, I can click a few buttons and have that done for me automatically.

The trick to having more time in your day to get things done is automating as much of your business as you can.

Chrome extensions allow you to do just that.

In this article, I will explain 20 different Chrome extensions and their uses so you can take this list and use it to help you in your own business.

20 Must-Have Google Chrome Extensions

So what are some of these time-saving extensions?

I use many of these extensions on this list, but not all. Others came as recommendations from other entrepreneurs.

LastPass

This extension helps you keep track of all your passwords in a secure way in order to prevent getting locked out of accounts because you forgot your password and not have to remember every password you have.

If you’re anything like me, you have a MILLION passwords.

LastPass also allows you to share accounts with others without having to tell them your password. For example, I had an ads manager for a while who had access to my ads accounts. He never had the password though because I used LastPass.

Keywords Everywhere

This is a great extension to do keyword research. Keyword research is an integral part of SEO (search engine optimization). So if you use SEO as part of your business game plan, Keywords Everywhere will make it much easier to do keyword research.

Facebook Pixel Helper

The Facebook Pixel Helper Chrome extension helps you ensure you implemented your pixel correctly.

When you click on this extension, it shows a detailed overview of the page’s pixels. It will show warnings, errors, and successes with the pixel.

Group Funnels

If you have a Facebook group, this is a great way to capture email addresses to build your email list.

I use Group Funnels. It enables me with just a click of a button to capture the email addresses I collect from the questions I ask when they joined my Facebook group.

These addresses are put on a Google sheet. Using the tool Zapier, I am then able to push the information from the Google sheet into my ClickFunnels account where I can then email those new subscribers.

It’s one of the best Google Chrome extensions available.

Group Convert

Group Convert is another Chrome extension that works similarly to Group Funnels.

However, Group Convert has a small monthly fee, whereas Group Funnels has only a lifetime access fee. It may seem like Group Convert is much cheaper at first glance. Though it’s much higher, the one-time lifetime access fee for Group Funnels pays for itself over time.

Loom

This extension enables you to record your screen or yourself and share it with others instantly.

The great thing about this extension is it’s free and has unlimited recording. You can record for hours at a time and have the necessary storage for those videos.

BeLive Desktop

The BeLive extension is an extension to use when you go live on Facebook interviewing another person or persons.

It enables you to all be part of the Facebook live. For those who do interviews on Facebook, this is a must-have tool in your business arsenal.

Evernote

Many people will bookmark certain webpages they want to remember and refer back to again. The problem with this is those bookmarks are only saved on your computer.

Evernote Web Clipper will help you save what you want from the internet by allowing you to clip the webpage, highlight certain parts, annotate it and even take screenshots.

The best part? You can access that information wherever you are and whenever you want.

Facebook Video Downloader

This is a great Chrome extension to be able to save your videos from Facebook as an mp4 in SD or HD files.

Though it’s not affiliated with Facebook, it’s fast and makes saving videos much easier.

Video Speed Controller

Video Speed Controller allows you to speed up or slow down any videos you watch online, cutting the time down you spend watching videos.

With video as a major part of business education and entertainment, sometimes it can be hard to get through all of the content you want to get through.

With Video Speed Controller, you can maximize the amount of content you get through.

ClickFunnels Affiliate Grabber

Google Chrome Extension ClickFunnels Affiliate Grabber

The ClickFunnels Affiliate Grabber is an extension created by Spencer Mecham and helps you check the status of ClickFunnels’ affiliate sales and capture the information into a Google sheet.

As you can imagine, this information is invaluable. It enables you to follow up with those who have bought and secure the sale.

CF Trends

Chris Fong is the creator of CF trends. It’s an extension that enables you to load your ClickFunnels affiliate data from a Google sheet.

Seeing this information enables you to understand what’s going on with your ClickFunnels sign-ups and your ClickFunnels referrals to be able to follow up with them and know where you stand with your ClickFunnels sales.

This information can help you expedite your ClickFunnels affiliate success and ultimately get more commissions.

Grammarly

If you write a lot, Grammarly Chrome extension is a great tool to have.

Most people make some mistakes when writing, but by using Grammarly, it helps catch spelling and grammar mistakes in your documents.

Though it’s not perfect, it’s very helpful and a useful tool for any writer.

Full Page Screen Capture

Full Page Screen Capture is a tool to use when you want to capture the entire image on the screen. This is useful for funnel hacking where you can see the entire sales page of a funnel.

It’s been said that it’s wise to buy slowly. This is a great way to do just that.

When going through a funnel, you can use Full Page Screen Capture on each step of the funnel to go back to later and analyze what worked and what didn’t.

Full Page Screen Capture is definitely a must-have Chrome extension for any funnel hacker.

Multiple tools for Facebook

Multiple tools for Facebook is a Chrome extension that helps automate your Facebook experience.

With this Chrome extension, you can guard your profile picture so it can’t be stolen, find and remove deactivated friends, change the privacy of your posts in bulk, scan the interaction of friends on your personal Facebook and much more.

Trelabels for Trello

If you use Trello in your business, Trelabels for Trello is a helpful extension.

This extension enables you to change the style of the label on Trello boards and also add buttons.

There are 5 styles available and it’s compatible with other trillo extensions that you may also be using.

Eye Dropper

Google Chrome Extension Eye Dropper

Eye Dropper is a great extension to use when wanting to capture the exact color of any webpage.

Click on the extension tool that looks like an eyedropper and then click on the color you want that’s on any website. It then adds it to your palette where you can grab the color code and add it to any funnel or webpage you are working on.

It takes the guesswork out of what color to use.

WhatFont

WhatFont is a great extension similar to Eye Dropper.

Whereas Eye Dropper identifies colors, WhatFont helps you know what fonts a webpage has. That way you can capture that font for your own funnel or website, making it exactly how you want it to look.

vidIQ

The vidIQ Chrome extension helps you see the statistics for your own YouTube videos as well as other people’s YouTube videos.

It gives you information like your overall score, your views per hour, the duration of the video, as well as your channel statistics.

You can see how many subscribers you have, how many views, the average daily views or the views in the last 30 days, your average daily subscribers as well as your subscribers in the last 30 days.

It also shows your video tags, your video topics and so much more information to help you improve your channel and videos.

Social Blade

Social Blade is similar to vidIQ in giving you information about your video as well as your channel.

You may wonder why you should use Social Blade when you use vidIQ or vice versa.

When seeing information from two different extensions, you have a much bigger and much better picture of what’s going on with your videos and with your YouTube channel.

It also helps you understand what’s working for other people in their videos and on their channels so you know what to model.

So incorporate Google Chrome extensions to simplify your business and get things done in your business in a fraction of the time.

There are, of course, many more choices of Google Chrome extensions you can use. But this is a good start.
