Traffic Secrets is the third and final book in the Secrets Trilogy by Russell Brunson. His other books, Dotcom Secrets and Expert Secrets, are focused on how to build a business the right way. They are excellent.

Traffic Secrets, however, shows how to get more eyes on your content and more buyers of your products and services.
It’s a book every serious marketer should have and read multiple times.

In this article, I will give a Traffic Secrets review and explain three strategies you can start using in your business today to get more traffic.
Strategy #1: Figure out Who Your Dream Customer Is
If you don’t know who you want to serve, you’ll never find them.
Take the time to figure out who your dream customer is and you’ll be able to grow your business exponentially.
You see, marketing in any industry or niche, is just like target shooting. If you don’t have a target, you don’t know where to shoot.
It’s the same when driving traffic to your offers, funnels, etc.
If you don’t know who your dream customer is, you’ll waste a lot of time and money going in circles and working with people you don’t enjoy working with.
In the Traffic Secrets book, it talks about how to figure out your dream customer, where to find them, and how to draw them into your world.
First, how to figure out who they are…
Become obsessed with them. Understand their message and purpose. What niche are they in? Are they in health, wealth, or relationships? What are their pain points? Their desires?
Dissect their world and you’ll have a greater understanding of how you can help them either move away from their pain or move toward pleasure.
And that is key.
Once you know your dream client, make a list of your dream 100, a list of people you’d love working with.
That’s the first step.
Second, where are they?
Knowing where they hang out is important because it’s where you should be hanging out.
As I said before, you want to dive into their world and know all the ins and outs of it.
What social media platform are they on? What forums? Do they have a website?
Find out where they are and who they serve and spend time with.
Third, hook them into your world…
There is something called the hook, story, offer.
This is the ideal structure of any message you write or say because it pulls them into what you’re saying.
Hook: hook them in with a great headline, title or question.
Story: tell a compelling and emotion-filled story that gets your message across. This should help them relate to you on some level.
Offer: you won’t sell anything unless you make a call to action. Offer them something that can help solve their problem.
And that’s it. It’s simple and it works.
Strategy #2: Fill Your Funnel with Your Dream Customer
Now that you know who your dream customer is, where they are and how to get them into your world, you need traffic sources to get your hooks in the water, so to speak.
So how do you fill your funnel with these people?
There are various traffic sources to choose from and the most important thing is to choose one that fits you and your strengths.
If you like to write, you can start a blog and an email list.
Or if you like to be on video, you can start a YouTube channel and an email list.
And if you like running ads, you can turn on some ads to attract them and build an email list as well.
Notice I said build an email list with each of these examples.
Email is a must no matter what other traffic sources you choose.
This is because it’s traffic you OWN as opposed to traffic you control (like ads) or traffic you don’t own (like social media).
If your traffic source dried up overnight (which has happened before to many people), your email list is still yours.
Don’t neglect it.
So choose a traffic source and build your email list.
That’s step two.
Strategy #3: Grow by Leveraging Other People’s Resources
The last strategy is collaborating with other people to grow your following.
For example, you can use other people’s distribution channels.
Some of these include Solo Ads, Facebook Messenger, guest blogging, and others.
Another way is to build an affiliate army to sell for you.
To make this successful, you need to make it worth the affiliate’s time.
Some people have contests with rewards and setting the compensation high will entice affiliates to promote your offer.
Collaborating with others is a simple and quick way to build your audience.
In Conclusion
So is the Traffic Secrets book worth reading?
Only if you like getting more traffic and sales.
It’s one of the best tools out there to understand traffic and how to get more people in your world.
I’ve only scratched the surface in this article, but if you use these three strategies, it will help you get more traffic faster.
